What to have ready when you call

You don't need to have everything worked out before you reach us, but a few details help us send the right crew and equipment:

• The property address, and whether it is a house, a condo or apartment unit, or a commercial building
• What happened and roughly when: a burst supply line, a failed water heater, a toilet overflow, a fire, or mold you can see or smell
• Whether the source has been stopped. If water is still running and it is safe to do so, shut off the main valve
• Your insurance carrier and claim number, if you have already opened a claim

While you wait for our crew

If it is safe, turn off the water source, keep children and pets away from standing water and sewage, and don't use outlets or appliances in wet areas. Take photos of the damage before anything is moved, because they help with your claim. We document the damage, prepare detailed reports and talk directly with your adjuster, so you are not left handling the paperwork on your own.
